Text of mailer sent on September 25th:
MAINTAIN YOUR PROFILE ON THE FAMILY RADAR SCREEN
The last Price Family survey indicated that a printed family directory and family tree was without the support
necessary to proceed. There was, however, sufficient interest amongst family members to enhance the existing family
Web site, http://www.ammsvces.com/price_family.html, and to use it as an inexpensive e-mail directory, family
news bulletin and display for links to members' personal or business Web pages.
The records of those responding to this request for information on addresses (postal and e-mail), telephone/fax
numbers, births, marriages and deaths will be archived for future reunions and/or for use by other respondents.
Perhaps younger members will find the file useful for networking as a supplement to the family e-mail directory.
If your co-ordinates have changed since the last reunion (1992) or in the case of the two dozen who responded to
the last mailer (1997), will you supply the changes along with your e-mail address for the family archives? In
the event you do, will you permit your e-mail address to be placed on the Web site? Its address is so obtuse it
should attract no attention (SPAM) from outsiders (it has not yet done so in the year or so that it's been up).
You can advise us by e-mail to: family@ammsvces.com or fax to: 415-499-8249, or post to: 33 Galleon Way,
San Rafael, CA 94903-2376, U.S.A
Tony Price is writing a family history and has asked for information in a letter now posted on the family Web site.
Shiela Campbell and Anne MacAulay have said they will make sure the Harrys and Arthurs get equal space on the Web
site with the Willies. We will await word from and 'Chiles' and the English branches.
Any family members who are in Montreal in November, especially-out-of town students, will find a gathering on Thursday,
November 5th at the Racket Club, 396 Concord (off Bleury just south of Sherbrooke St. W.) hosted by Alister Price
(RSVP 514-938-9241) . Those out-of-Quebecers under 25 will get 2 FREE drinks! Otherwise it is a cash bar &
munchies, and the first Price mini-reunion. Similar events will be posted on the web site and sent e-mail to the
known addresses as and when scheduled.
